Yes he did! I rollered the roof though due to not being able to get the spray gun in the right places/angle.

What paint did you use Fred/ Muttley? I'm getting sick of needing to polish the celly on mine, I don't remember synthetic needing constant attention to keep on top of it It does look good now! Can't beleive how it looked to begin with.

It was coach paint, takes a while to dry but is hardier than celly or 2k. First go with HVLP gravity fed gun, loads more adjustments to the application of the paint. Low pressure means less overspray and less paint waste shut and body lines were an absolute pain to get right, I think the old girl has had a punch up or three in her life

I blame that bus. DR the other paint I use is another enamel by Johnstone's. It's self levelling and goes on great with a roller. I used it on Winnie and everybody thought she was sprayed. The coach enamel is £90 for 2.5L posted and thins with thinners. Call Ken or Lynn on 0129881481.
The Johnstones is over the counter and £36 for 2.5L mixed on the day. Do a search for a Johnstone's local supplier. It's thinned with white spirit.
2.5L of either will easily do a LWB. Alex was celly before and went very flat.
