I need to repair the A post front scuttle areas on both sides of my transit . this I know is not an uncommon situation and getting new sections to weld is not easy either , but I do a lot of work in China and have spent a 6 weeks out there in the last year and have access to metal pressing factories so I'm contemplating getting tools made to re produce these parts if the price is right and I'm sure there would be a great demand for these or other panels if it goes OK . so I'm on the scronge does any one have a pair to sell or loan they don't have to be perfect ?

Do you mean the actual windscreen surround and A post, its all one panel.

Well I. Thinking repair sections of each end as it seems to be mainly the ends and tooling for the complete scuttle would be really expensive . Thoughts appreciated

What I mean is that you cant get the bits you need for the repair sections without cutting up a surround panel

No I understand that , to be honest all I actually need is a bad section that has been cut away nicely that can be filled etc to make the top face good .

Intresting thread. I just did my lower screen corners last week.
I had no choice but to shape some sheet metal, cut the rust and weld in my newly made pieces It was hard to get all the angles as it curves in 3 directions at the lower screen corner but possible with a hammer and dolly.
Intrested to see if you can produce these in batch form, you'd sell them like hot cakes!
