Before I go hacking about pulling at bits I shouldn't, can anyone tell me how this center piece of dash comes out? The bit with the heater controls on? I'm thinking of putting 2 extra 52mm gauges where those circular blank bits are either side. Thanks.

There are a couple of self tappers along the lower edge of the trim, it the unhooks from the top edge.

You need to fiddle a bit to get both upper locating pins out and then the plastic bit from around the heater controls, on mine I moved the fag lighter to where your white card holder thing is to give a extra space. Got oil pressure, temp and aux fuel gauge on mine now.

Lovin the look, great to see a transit where the time is more important than the oil pressure too If its not broken...I can break it!

Yep, rev and water gauges. Never had a pinto fail on pressure (yet), but I've had a few overheat and a rev counter is always nice.
