just a few pics of cozy b4 she was stolen last week.and thankfully she was seen by the police in Cambridgeshire getting towed dwn the road so she was recovered but unfortunately the theifs ripped all the wires under the dash and broke the steering lock of so steering column as gone they also forced the camper door open to get into her so my insurance have it at their storage space and have said that cozy is un fixable so going to write her of and their is knw way this going to happen i will be getting her bk on the road.as soon as they get bk to me as they have offered scappage value but to me its repairable so cozy will hopefully b bk on the road in time for nxt years events and looking prouder than ever.i will keep you all informed of progress but may need help in repairing her which i knw ralph as offered once he knws the out come of where it is thanks ralph.and thanks to cambs police who did wat we pay them to do for a change.and caught them in the act of crime who now are in custody.

that shouldn't cost much to put right.when my bug got smashed up years ago they sent out an assesser and then sent me out a quote that they would offer to write her off and also a buy back price so good luck and all the best.
I take it you've a fair idea of what a Mk2 transit is worth these days? looking at ebay the days of them being £1500-£2000 are long long gone, the insurance company will go for a just above scrap value offer as to them its just another old knacker, be prepared to argue with them, market value means just that - not what they think its worth (in their dreams)
yea she in storage at co parts in wisbech cambs waiting on insurance to see wat they going to do but they are saying its not worth fixing but hey wat do they knw just hope to get her bk soon missing cozy people who took her are in court this week for theift of a motor plus criminal damage ect.so hope insurance dont rip me of.will keep u all updated
COPART :0 ?! Thats a salvage/breakers. Not good. You need to fight the insurance all the way on this and quick. Storage will be adding up on a daily basis. Soon the storage costs will outstrip the value. Push em for a settlement before Copart move cozy across the lot
thanks everyone but insurance not releasing cozy anytime soon the 3 people who took her was in court on the 5th of this month.not heard bk from that yet but police forensics got bk to me to say they got their prints so hoping that the police do them for it and then hop insurance will then release cozy then i can get her bk on the road but may need help to fix her which i knw ralph as offered once i get her bk but depends on funds.and pass on if it will start dodgeover as they not saying much atm i saw it at the first place it got taken to and all wires was rippedout from dash.so just playing the waiting game atm.but will keep u all updated.knw something thou miss cozy n cant wait to get her bk thats if the insurance dont crush her.
