hi im currently fitting a eberspacher night heater, just wondered if anyone else has fitted one i plan to use a separate fuel tank but not sure what to use.what has others used ? cheers broon

Yes use a seperate one and fuel it with cherry (i know they only use a bit but still)

This is something I want to do for camping without hook up, but they are sooooo expensive to buy new and having no experience of them I don't want to go 2nd hand. Let us know what you do please.

i bought mine 2nd hand with a 7 day timer. came off a fishing boat reasonable price too, have run it up all seems fine. just have to finish install now

As long as you have a Carbon monoxide alarm fitted and follow the instructions not much to go wrong . Probably safer than LPG

yeh fitted carbon monoxide alarm as soon as i was home :-)
just need to sorce and fit extra tank and were done.

well finally finished install. ended up using a 5 ltr plastic diesel can. made a plywood box fiberglassed it inside and out put vent holes in it and mounted underneath van. been away for a week in camper, used night heater a couple of times. worked great think i must of used 20p of diesel happy days
