Getting stressed as rust keeps appearing from nowhere ! I'm in need of a good decent welder / fabricator as I'm fine with mechanics but not with major body surgery ! Help. ?

Try Muttley, Sussex isn't too far for him to travel.

Muttley to the transit phone! It honestly doesn't look too bad in the photos, hopefully all the rust has been discovered now, what is it like behind the cowl on the bulkhead?

The bulkhead along with the cab floor is like new. I have removed the rear quarters but the metal behind them is full of holes, rear valence is rusty along with the panel behind it which is welded to the main box sections of the chassis. Both rear arches & rear ends of sills have gone. I know people restore much worse & that I shouldn't be whinging but it gets me panicking. A chap in my local scrapyard is an old school welder mechanic & he's coming to have a look hopefully tomorrow. I will put some more photos of the rusty bits up.

Didn't yours come with some new rust repair panels as well? Or is it another one I'm thinking of?
