Cheers Fred Also I now have a full Overdrive kit to fit to try and get it a bit better on the Motorway. Needs a good clean and paint before I fit it and I hope the front part of the Xlwb prop will fit and do the job on mine. Also I have a RHD overdrive gearstick but as it's simply the standard gearstick with a heatshrink cover over the stick so I'm hoping I can just turn my LHD gearstick into an overdrive one fairly easily, assuming it fits the Overdrive gearbox? A pic of all the bits

Few updates on the Firevan. Decided not to fit the Overdrive gearbox, just couldn't bring myself to remove the low mileage matching numbers unit so sold it all on. I needed to do something about the seating in the back, only 1 passenger seat in the front and the German Fire seats in the back meant I could only really carry one passenger safely. As I have 1 child and one on the way I needed some proper seats in the back. So I bought a brand new twin Mk8 Transit minibus seats, and a set of proper mounting brackets for it and fitted the seats today. It's a quick release seat so at shows I can easily remove it making it look almost stock again. Not nice drilling 6 holes in the mint floor, but had to be done. Also fitted a set of more period looking pressed metal number plates.

Did a couple of jobs on it this weekend, replaced the rocker cover gasket for a rubber one and replaced the prop donut as it had perished then took it to a littke local show. A couple of pics of it yesterday at a local show :-)
