Hello all, New guy here, its been on my mine for a very long time now about getting a mk1 Transit van, maybe a mk2 Been looking around but not really many about. What do you guys think of my chances of ever finding something that's roadworthy to start with Thanks guys

What van are you after, petrol or diesel, LWB or SWB, minibus etc. plenty about, just need to know what you fancy. Budget would help too

What would be ideal is a mk1 Petrol swb van and if I could be picky, with no side loading doors, just the back doors. Not to much to ask for and for something that's good, I would say around 8k thanks

If you want relatively rust free go for an ex german fire brigade transit. The only thing is most of them are LWB twin wheelers and are lhd.

Welcome mate. Think about reverting a pop top camper to a van. That's what we did (pop top was shot) so the van was saved, and it was far cheaper than buying a van. It's not a good time of year pricewise to buy a camper though. You need a Mk2 roof to get rid of the pop top. If you can"t do the work, talk to Muttley.
