we're lucky over here as anything pre 1980(it was 30) is classic and nct exempt(m.o.t)and anything 30 yrs is classic tax at €56 But in Ireland they've robbed you blind for the first 30 years especially for cars. 2000cc = €673 per year and a +3000cc at €1800. Thank god they give the older cars a break! Over here in Guernsey they did away with motor tax and put it on the petrol!
