Can someone please list the parts required to PROPERLY convert from flat front to bullnose?
Obviously bonnet and front panel but what other parts are required to do a proper factory looking job? I've been looking at bullnose pic's and suspect the bumper, front valance and valance corners are different? Bumper brackets?
In addition, does anyone know where I might get the required parts please? I would be looking for near perfect rust and dent free as my van is 10k miles from new and the parts I would be removing for the conversion are virtually perfect, rust and dent free.
Many thanks,
Col.

Sounds a shame to convert it. I imagine good rust free bits will be expensive and hard to find. You'd have been better off getting a mk2 Fire transit like mine as the engine bays are much bigger to fit any type of engine, plus the Pinto (as you know) is a much better engine.
There's a guy who's posted about the Gaydon show and he's converted his mates flat front with an Isuzu engine, another guy on the other forum is fitting a VAG diesel to his. Might be a better way to go fitting a compact modern diesel.
What engine you hoping to fit in it?

I went through the same exercise a few years ago, as I wanted to convert my LWB van to a bullnose front. Another friend is doing the same to to his low mileage firevan, so that he can fit a 2.8 V6 to it and make it look as factory as possible. As you said, bonnet, and grill. Then you need the diesel font bumper, which is a completely different shape. Diesel front valance (very hard to find!) and the box section that fits behind the front valance.(although this may possibly be the same part, just moved forward?) Chassis rails are extended a bit to meet the box section too, front spring hangers are slightly different in shape. The lower front corners of the front guard/wing are shorter on the diesel, although essentially the same pressing. Then bumper mounts, and the little horizontal infill panels between the indicators and front bumper. There is an extra bracket spot welded to the front of the inner wings to support the grille too. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so here is the equivalent of about fifteen thousand words
