Im having some annoying creases removed from the OS side door of my mk2 firevan (looks like the side door has hit the edge of the front door) with a paintless dent removal company.
Anyway the interior door panel needs to come off so he can get behind the creases and massage them out.
Whats the best way to get the interior door panel off without knackering the clips?

you can buy a range of trim removing tools from your local car parts place, grab one of them (ask which is the best for what you want to do) and carefully pry the panels off, dont force them just lever them up a little at a time and they will come out fairly easily

I use the tin opener on me multi tool. It's flat but has a hooked shape so can lever up from 2 sides of the clip. There's still a chance they can break. Plastic gets brittle after 30 years.
