For some reason my indicator warning and high beam warningn lights aren't working, and the alternator isn't charging. All the fuses are ok, does anybody have ideas where I can go chasing earth faults?

Check the plugs in the back of the dash, also the ignition switch.

With the alternator check the brushes and make sure all the wires are tight. If its shagged update to a later more powerful unit. With the dash, like muttley said check the plugs and make sure they arent corroded. Check your manual for your earth line and make sure you have clean contacts at both ends

Also check the actual fuse contacts. A bit of furring up will stop the current.

Gone through all the connections, MPD supplied a replacement alternator under warranty and now i've got a charging battery and 4 out of 5 idiot lights working. Where can i source bulbs for the instrument panel are they the same as anything modern - the holders are missing too
