got myself into heck of a position.went out to move the camper out of the garage for it's sale.i've had no trouble moving her in the past but!!! got her started with a couple of squirts of easy start no problem but when I went to put her in reverse she clunked very hard into gear and stalled and now she is stuck in reverse and stuck in the door way to the garage.this happened about 3 hours ago and I've only just got myself out as I was stuck in the garage,at one point my son was trapped inside the van as the doors were blocked by the garage posts. no matter how much brute force I used I can't shift the gear stick.the clutch pedal doesn't go straight to the floor as like when the cable snaps.the only thing that is different is there was a pool of fluid under the diff.any suggestions as she is 3 quarters out of the garage and stuck.unlike the ambulance she idn't turning too well on the starter either.

Sounds like your clutch has stuck to the flywheel. Mine did that after only 2 months of standing. Freed it off by putting rear axle on stands, put into 3rd gear, started engine, reved up, push clutch down & stamped on the brakes. Scarey but it worked after a few attempts.

Yep sounds like that to me too, it might free off if you try starting it in 4th gear with the clutch down

she has to go fred as as ya know if we lose the house she'd probably end up being cut up.he's using a few bits he needs and it's easier for him to have the whole van and keep her for spares so maybe if we stay I can buy the rest back.
Richard i'll get a pick or 2 when she's loaded up.
