Yes, primer is porous. Like the wheels but no too sure about white on the engine. That could look grubby pretty quick.

im not going thats to far lol Lol I'm working the other side of Storrington for a few weeks I'm doing 70 miles a day! And I have to go past the Vosa checkpoint on the A23! Cobra in white on the bonnet? Weren't that the Mustang II KingCobra?,I'd put the chrome grill badge off of a GT500 on.(prefer to buy whole car,but that's just dreaming) I was thinking more of the Aussie XC Falcon Cobra they were twin blue stripes on a white car, I think I may have seen a cobra transit special at some point.

Why didn't we get cars like that here!,is that what the original "Mad Max" car was based on?,although forget snakes, just get a Boss... You could, special order through you Ford dealer, you could order the big Aussie Chryslers as well through London dealers including the Charger! The Pursuit Special was based on an XB GT so started with a 351 v8 but I've looked at one fitted with a big block in the past. The body kit was a modified Arcadipan (or something spelt like that) kit that I think was made in very limited numbers....you would be mad to mess about a genuine XB GT these days though, even the poverty spec 6 cylinder coupes make strong money and they like to rot as well...

You could do with getting some top coat over the primer, the primer isn't waterproof and it will start rusting underneath Is this the cause of blisters/bubbles appearing under the top coat after a while, that if you pin you get water out,i.e. Damp primed surface painted on?,not so much rusting as lifting top coat, didn't show until a good while after paint was applied(was 2pak on a glass body)
