What's is the worse that can happen to it if you leave it on the street? Pillars, panels etc can be drilled and sprayed with fish oil to reduce rust. Antifreeze to stop block cracking, wax polish to protect duco. These are tough work vans that keep going in adversity not like modern girly vans. I can't do smileys on my phone
Probmem is that I only got one parking outside my house. There is no place around here I can park it. I would have to park it far away from here, and i'm not so happy about that But I will keep looking for a garage for rent
Long time since last update, but I have too muck to do at work
Will fix the valves this weekend, and get the engine back together. Looking forward to start it again! I*ve decided (I think) to keep the original paint, and get the car wrapped. Then the car will look great, but still have the original paint. Looking for prices on both wrapping and paint now.
The plan was to get the valves done today, and get the engine back together. When we started on the valves, we could see a crack between to valves. When we looked on the other, there is a crack between all of the valves, plus one crack from a valve and in to the header. So it's not able to fix it.
I have to get a New engine I think. Or a New header, but I don't think I will find it in Norway. Don't know if I will find it in another contry as well. I have heard that the diesel engine has a bad reputation? If so, I think its better to do a engine swap. What do you guys think?
