I'm in need of a new filler plug for my twin wheel rear axle, the old one has been butchered in the past and its generally a pig to get out - tightens up fine though. Are they still available new from Ford or elsewhere and is it the same as whatever is fitted to the later vans?
Next question, gaskets for the rear cover on the diff, are they just gasket paper or something a bit more elaborate?
Thanks everybody

I was going to be all posh and use proper thick gasket paper if I can find it locally, but a weetabix box was plan b Any ideas on the filler plug - it looks pretty standard but longer than the ones on ebay for the English axles.

Is it an internal square or a hex head?

Internal square, will mig a hex head onto it if I fail to source a new one though

That's what I was going to suggest, cut up an Allen key and weld it in
