These are quite rare the twin wheeler travelhome on a mk2, but I really need a replacement rear door glass. If you have one or know someone with one or seen one rotting somewhere please get in touch.

This is probably an expensive option, but I know a company I used to work for can do custom glass for classic motors. They were called Triplex in the 90's but that changed to Pilkington Automotive (as the internet age really kicked off it seemed there was some confusion and unprofessional redirects doing an internet search for their logo - XXX). Not sure if they're still the same name. Practical Classics recently had them produce a set of custom glass for a one-off TVR that never reached production.

What Fred says, machine glass should be laminated too because it gets knocked fairly regularly, dark tint you might have to use a vinyl for though.

I'll have to get the frame out to see how it's fitted in.

You've probably already thought of it,but if you taking frame out couldn't you get some acrylic sheet(type of stuff police use for side windows on there vans)as a pro-temp measure whilst you source correct glass, least with that fitted it's useable,if another scrote tries to break it they stand the chance of any thrown objects returning and smacking them straight in the face?

The glass its self is only 6mm and acrylic of that thickness isn't very durable at all But prob do as a temp measure tho. Prob look better than plywood tho.

I've got a window like that in my garage, The outside of the frame measures approx. 44 1/2" x 13 3/4". Is the beading that covers the fixing screws on the inside or the outside? The window I have has the 3 round corners & 1 square corner like the pic, if the beading is on the inside then it is the same way round as the one in the pic, The glass has had some paint drips on it but should clean off ok, I'm in Basildon,
