Took dogs to one of the local places of interest today,'Castillo de Borneio',a Stone Age ruin of a village at the top of one of the local hills, the road to it is a 12.5%gradient,you pull off main road into a lay by to access path to top. Anyway, getting the dogs out of back of car, parked in layby to walk through woods to ruins and a newish Renault Laguna comes speeding into layby, stops driver jumps out after looking round seat etc, pats himself down and goes back to looking on floor of car(I'm thinking'youve dropped your ciggy(spliff?)..,he looks up around ground and the car door shuts, car starts rolling,he runs to try and stop it but it's gone, momentum taking over,so he's left watching his car roll down the road, keys in ignition, faster than sprinting by the time it's got off of layby. I'm the only one in the car park apart from him,so falling down laughing wasn't the way to go(was hard not to),so I loaded the dogs back up and followed in the direction of car with him 1.5 km of downhill twists and turns,no car, thing had vanished(side of roads cliffs trees one side, tree sheer drops the other, couldn't see no broken trees and the village 1.5 km down didn't have any rouge cars visiting any of the houses). Left the guy at village to walk back up and look closer for it,turned round and went back up to walk dogs. Hour and a half later drive home, pass the guy still looking, whatever he was looking for at layby,he'd lost, and then his car as well. Only when you havnt got a camera!,mind you,not sure taking pics would have gone down too well.
