If you want to reinstate your pics for your threads here's some step by step instructions on how to reinstate your photos stored in photobucket. They are still stored there, it's just the links don't show the pics online. It looks complicated, but if you have got the hang of posting pics via photobucket it's not.
If you get the direct URL (given by photobucket) you can use this to upload to postimages.org You can then get a new code (the seventh code labled Hotlink for Forums). You then replace the photobucket code with the postimages code.
1. Open your post with a photobucket blocked image. 2. Go to photobucket, and open the exact image. This doesn't work with links for whole albums, only individual photo. 3. Select 'Share' and then 'Get links' for the photo. 4. Copy the second code 'Direct' 5. Go to Postimages and select Upload by URL. Paste the photobucket code into the box and click upload. Once uploaded, you copy the seventh code 'Hotlink for Forums' as you would with a pic uploaded from your computer. 6. On the forum, go to your post and delete the photobucket code. Paste the postimages code in it's place. Check that it's worked by using the 'Preview' button, then post!
Click on 'Choose Images' This brings up a box (on a computer) or page (on a phone) for you to select a photo. Click on a photo and wait for it to upload Once uploaded, you will be shown the image. Under it is a list of codes. Scroll down to number SEVEN 'Hotlink for forums:'. Right click (on a computer) or press and hold (on a phone or tablet) and select copy. Go to your forum post, and put the cursor where you want the image to be. Right click or press and hold and select paste. The code should appear in your post. Check that it's worked by clicking on preview, this might not be available on the mobile version. Click on Create Post and you have posted your picture! Once you get used to it, it's dead easy.

Having probs with photo uploading, photobucket app has disappeared from my IPad,gone from AppStore etc,got my photos still on pad ,tried post-image org (signed up etc) but I’ve lost all URL-from photobuket, has anyone out there found any other way of post8ng pics from iPad type device onto forum?
Your photos will still be on photobucket. You don't have to sign up to postimg, just go to the URL. First go to photobucket. Copy the direct URL from the pic you want to post. Go to postimg and select 'Upload from URL' from the menu (top right). Then paste the photobucket URL in the box and upload. You will then get the codes for the forum. It's the seventh one down that you need.

Just found a way round all this palava to post photos, well works from my iPad,if I go into forum via tapatalk(have been accessing direct over net) and log in,when posting via tapatalk your given the options to go directly into photo memory on pad and post from this,no hosts,no copy/paste,just post pics.its just worked to post pic on thread, that’s coming up direct and via tapatalk,so happier days..🙂
edit:-strange,but via tapatalk all photos in “pics of van”thread show(even ones via photbucket),but direct only photos posted from pad via tapatalk onto forum🤔
