Ah GPW, not at all, thank you for the offer of suppliers for parts but found a whole unit on e bay as recomended by my very competent mechanic friend, I am still in awe of your knowledge, paying close attention and listening very carefully. Last night was a 6th form halloween party for my daughter and as its half term this week has been being dads cab and working. Then losing the windscreen today has put alot on hold...will get the vin number and will post photos of making the old unit good so your advice and help will still be greatly appreciated : )

And I'm not sure that the replacement wont need parts so ignore that comment...the saving of the servo unit will be the work for this weekend : )

Where I come from, 1) the servo is the black pressed steel thing that rings when you hit it, it's held on to your bulkhead by nuts inside your cab. 2) the reservoir is the white, semi-transparent plastic container that holds brake juice. 3) the master cylinder is the cast iron thingy underneath the reservoir, it's held on to the servo by a couple of nuts, the reservoir plugs into it. one or more brake pipes come out of it.
