i'll second that Ireland has great scenery,mountains etc but attractions especially for kids are few and far between.

The entire west coast is just as stunning but for some reason 0ur tourist board don't seem able to inform the UK public of that.Let me know how you get on if ever you make it over.

Oh and btw there's a large empty car park at the top of the cliff, ideal for a camper....no facilities of course but who needs them!

sems I have done more in three posts than the Irish Tourist Board have done in 20 years.... Let me know if there's going to be a Transit Camper fest and I'll come too

Found a 9 day itinerary on a site, that comes through waterford, cobh, ring of kerry...im not sure if its for me yet, im still trying to work out a scottish loch tour next year and trying to make them 4 days so its a long weekend. But the western ireland beaches look great surf beaches If its not broken...I can break it!

My part of the world...it's all good. From Cork City westwards is spectacular.... don't miss the Beara Penisula and the Healy Pass en route for Killarney (Muckross House worth seeing and free if you don't want to go in the house itself) Then Tralee and out to Dingle (a must if you like seafood).
