hicko: sorry in the wrong place here ,but any one can help me,i have a left hand drive 1978 mk2 camper with pinto engine and 4 speed box and im putting in a 1993 transit diesl and 5 speed box 1993 which is from a right hand drive ,so can i still av power steering

dodgerover: or damage? If the vibration is just through the steering wheel they may need balancing. Also check for wear in the other steering components

erik: We have already a long time a fleurs de lys that is based on the chassis of a Ford transit 1984. We have a problem that when we drive the car it is vibrating when we drive around 60-70 km/hour and think that we have a problem with the front suspension.

aussiebob: just for your information the calipers on the transit are lockheed the same model is fitted to rover sdi and range rovers, there is a company in sydney that stocks parts and overhaul kits called tr spares bob

mjjordan: A while ago, cant find it now, I think there was advice on which teperature sensor to use in a mk2 transit which has had its 2.0 pinto replaced by a 2.5d, temperature gauge not worked since. Think the adviser even gave the part no. any1 remember?

cozy1: well not a happy chappy atm some people are sick cozy got stolen last week they ripped all the wires ect from under the dash broke the steering lock ect and to get into the camper they damaged the entrance door the police caught the theifs red handed.

cozy1: all pipes checked and all good carb is good valves ect all checked.so going to give a retune once i receive the part of raldh tomorrow hoping it will solve the problem ohhh and thanks for the part ralph as im trying to keep the van as original as it was w.
