Hi All,
I bought my ambulance a couple of months ago from a film company who provide vintage vehicles for films and adds etc. My ambulance has just been used in the new James Hunt movie Rush, and had very low mileage. My intention was to convert it in to a vintage crepe van etc, but a couple of professional vintage van restorers have noted that the van is in such immaculate original condition that I would burn in Transit Hell if I converted the ambulance. Sort of stuck now as I don't really want to destroy a little bit of ford history! The ambulance came from a nuclear power station in Scotland and was on permanent stand by, so has only done 6400 miles and still has all the equipment including radio, lights oxygen bits in the back, beds etc. it has MOT and tax until April 14. So if any one is interested in either a swap or cash/swap, then let me know.

Welcome mate! Would love to see pics of this, you can upload them directly to the forum from your computer. Use the attachment button (like attaching to an email). You need to be in full reply though to see it.

resize them in photoshop or use a hosting site like photobucket.com To upload to photo bucket you do a similar process to attaching to an email. Once its there you click on the thumbnail to see a larger version and to the right of that there are three codes. You need to copy the bottom one and paste it into your post. The photobucket account is free.

Thats the issue Irishtransit, she is far to good to transform her in to a crepe van. Thats why I think I should sell her on so that she remains as she is.

I can only see one pic but what I see is nice! Agreed you need to leave her as is!

I think the general consensus of opinion, which I also definitely agree with, is leave it as is. That is one very clean, original amby you've got there and it would be criminal to do anything except preserve her. Oh, welcome along as well.

Cheers all for the comments, so you can see what my dilemma is. So if any one knows any one who would like to buy her or swap her for something else that would be helpful.
