A MK1 or MK2 van long range fuel tank complete with sender unit. £45.00. Tel Ralph 07940582374 G'day mate, we spoke a few years ago regarding a fuel tank. You were kind enough to see about freight to Tasmania Australia but I didn't hear a reply?? I have put up with it and resealed the one I have but it still has issues with a fungus that I can't get rid of. From what I understand it's due to being in the tropics before I got hold of it and is virtually impossible to remove. So I'm back to square 1! Can you or someone help?

G'day! A fuel tank from a Mk2 should fit, and if it is one of the Oz built vans with the 4.1 six it will have the big tank fitted. That might be easier to find over there.

Never heard about that fungus before! Then again I'm not in the tropics. Just a thought, could you try freezing it? Would that kill a tropical fungus? Make friends with somebody who has access to a commercial walk in freezer!

Meat freezers at the freezing plant would be plenty big and cold enough if you don't get eaten by the rats...

They grow massive thick coats, makes them look even bigger than they are.
