made it to irishtransit'e without issue (except a rubbing squeaking noise which seems to be offside rear wheel area.....dirt/rust in the brake shoes? It goes away after a while .... (comes back after parking.

Reading your description could it be when you release the handbrake the shoes arent reytacting properly? Duck looks mighty fine too.

It's the bearing on the centre of the propshaft. It looks mighty odd to me as if someone has bodged it up with a blue bit of something wedged in the carrier....... are bearings easy to get and is it a DIY job fitting them?

I think it's a rubber insert in the bearing carrier that has somehow come adrift... should be a simple matter of putting it back in... am I right?

it's back where it should be and the squeaking has gone.....brakes all bled and ready for the test...might even pass it!

it's been about 14 months waiting to get back on the road..... it was great to drive the old girl to irishtransits place the other day (totally illegally of course) .

well. it failed...but mostly on brake issues probably the result of standing up for a year, (also worn or loose wheel bearing). I think it's an easy fix
