Meet Eric the MK1 Transit camper he's been sitting in the current spot since 1990 (last tax disc in window) so yes he needs some err a lot of work His last owner (Eric) past away just after Christmas at the age of 97 and now apart from crossing t's and doting i's I'm his new owner after being a cheeky bugger and posting a note to see if it could be for sale. I've been given permission to spend some time on him before he's moved which is good as the brakes are going to need a little tlc etc he does seem very solid though and as per the pics the main area for attention is the rear panel and the inner camper part.

That looks a good place to start from, not too much visible rust. If the handbrake's on, your biggest job will be getting the brakes off.

That looks nice, I hope you have fun with the rebuild. I'll be following this thread.

Out of interest has anyone got any pictures of what the back corner should look like? Would it of had a window in the missing panel?
Thanks in advanced

We will have to break our CI Landliner after that tree fell on it, the back end is OK if you want any windows. Bear in mind it's the amby shape though, not a luton shape.

Looking at the setup you might wanna consider just board and a decent pair of wing mirrors and a reversing camera

Cheers for the pic I think yours is different with it having a window each side of the back door and yes it is thought that the old man had caught the fence with that back corner it is very tight tho I'm not 100% how I'm going to do it but if I can ill keep it as original as possible :-D

Are brake (discs etc) and suspension parts hard to come by? I've done a eBay search and it brought up nothing that's normally a bad sign
