Careful with the nib and bolts on the (water pump?) pulley 😊 I ended up grinding the nib off and fitting flat head bolts but your engine mounts might not be as springy as puks.

I've thought of that one mate my plan is to put a later water pump on and may be trim the bolt heads back a touch as u say but it might not be on this engine unfortunately I'm guessing that will give about another 10mm clearance on the rad

Engine out engine in gone to the original engine I was going to use the other was smoking to much for my liking 😕 Anyway he's now moted and I've also fitted a cam belt and water pump kit it's running great I've done about 30 miles as a test run only slight gripe is I feel it's lacking top end which I think is a lack of fuel so I'm going to look at the carb when I get chance.

Also fitted one of the cheapo head units everyone seems to be fitting it works a treat for 13 quid 😊
