Here's a laugh for you my better half washed some of the curtains today although the intention is to trim the inside we thought it a good idea to clean what's in it for now just to give it a cleaner feel as it's so dusty inside it's unreal. The outcome.... Needless to say I think they were a little rotten

My other half washed the curtains for out caravan when we got it and the inner linings just fell apart, i think its the sun thats does for them more than damp.

I started on top and and I'll work my way down scrub scrub scrub it's taken some doing I started with a soft floor brush witch didn't touch it so I ended up using a scotch/brillo pad there's a few small repairs needed to the fiberglass but nothing major considering it age Onto the sides next I'm now thinking to leave the back camper part as original as poss if it cleans up half decent I'd guess ones with original paint and decals are rare (ish) I don't know

I found using a shower antimould spray is the easiest way to clean my fibreglass pop top roof. You go through a few bottles though. Spray it on and leave for a few minutes and then a hose and an old towel cleans it off in no time.

My top tip for cleaning is Asda cheapo cleaner (25p). Put it neat in a spray bottle, scrub with a soft floor brush and wash off straight away. You can also use bleach kitchen cleaner on white fibreglass, but don't ever put it on coloured paint (which is what I do before painting).
