What material did you use for the frame of the tray, ally or steel? Must say that tray looks real nice

Hi retiredtruckie, I used steel for the tray had it sand blasted and powder coated. I think I paid around $300 for blasting and around the same for the powder coating. My earlier post explains what timber I used, cost of timber was around $800 but I think worth it. I used stainless bolts of ebay and hinges also from ebay.au.

That's lovely. Have you got black caulking in the shadow gaps to stop stuff getting wedged between the boards?
