That's the thing about vans, you need a big place to get them under cover.

The bottom of the B post should be curved round to meet the inner sill, like this. It might be why your door's not fitting.

the door is not hitting the sill tho the problem is its rubbing on the wing and the lines on the door dont line up with the body lines

Expanding foam is not a good idea it absorbs water & will rot it from the inside out. Also its a major fire risk if your welding close by.

Please tell me that's not expanding foam? You've gone to loads of trouble putting metal in - why make sure it rots out again?

We had a similar problem with the stock cars, we used to foam the bulkhead and fuel tanks with fire retardant foam but within a year the surrounding metal would all bubble up. The foam seems to entrap moisture within the small cavities and make things worse. I'm using good old waxoil and under seal.

its expanding foam i painted as much as i could inside then filled with foam. my dad had a few of these vans and done sills a few times but the last time he put foam in and then it never needed doing again after that

It's a right bad idea. Waxoil and old engine oil is as good as anything blast it in with a long probe on the end of a Shultz gun.
