How come you can't register it where you are? If you can swing it I think it's Gibraltar that doesn't have an MOT system, if you can reg it there, just use a po box or a backpackers for an address

How come you can't register it where you are? If you can swing it I think it's Gibraltar that doesn't have an MOT system, if you can reg it there, just use a po box or a backpackers for an address Spanish law changed around time I got van,old cars, camper etc can still be registered on historic plates here, but checks to register are very particular(has to be all original,if camper from new, original fittings etc),then the milage is also severely restricted,iirc500km per annum(know speedo cables can snap!)older commercial vehicles just arnt allowed to be imported and registered anymore,Even though Transit got Windows, and on fire paperwork a six seater,it falls as commercial,so can't be registered here. Spanish vehicle laws strange,an imported car/Van used to be registered as the year it enters Spain, even if it not new, there's a mk 1 lwb on autoscout at mo.in Spain,€11,900,but if you look at Van and advertized year of manufacture it's well off, someone was lucky enough to bring it in and register before change in law. Hadn't thought about Gibraltar, but from where I am it's the other end of Spain, about 700 miles,I'll look into possibilities though
