Ceiling sheet metal / ali removed. That was fun in removing the old rivets I managed to poke through the fibreglass roof then had to repair the holes with body filler. Filled the struts with expanding foam Lined with double sided foil bubble wrap stuff. Insulated with sheeps wool and joints tapes with foil faced tape.

When I took off the old roof light to check the seal it snapped in half haha! Got a sexy new one which fit the existing hole almost perfectly. Used almost an entire tube of sikalex to fit

Filled the holes with expanding foam then did a bit of body filler over the top. Not the neatest job but its in the inside bottom and you can't see it anyway. Doors will probably require extensive attention in the future but should do for now.

Crappy pic but got the grille (bootpolishing it came out an absolute treat, almost looked new) on and the indicators etc back on. Will try and get on in the sunlight.

Glad to see you have got the hang of the pics! Be careful of that expanding foam, it's flammable and holds water (unless it's special closed cell). I prefer ally tape to cover tiny holes, then filler.

ah cheers for the heads up Fred! I probably won't take it out but tbh I'm expecting to have to redo those doors in a couple of years. Did get smeared in body filler then primer than paint but still . . . just me being a bit lazy

Wow that's just lovely work there Harry. Are those real floorboards or laminate?
