With a heavy heart I am selling my mk2. My wife has severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and needs to give up work, the only way to do this is by selling our Audi Q3 so we aren't paying £400 a month in finance and selling my Firevan so we can buy a family car/van outright. It's on EBay currently www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122559678869Ideally I need around £8k for it to make everything work out.

Can't too big and impractical to use as a daily, and I'll destroy it if I used it every day.
It's too good and original for that.
Want a Sport Van I can turn into a Combi then get rid of our Q3 to free up some cash.

Words fail me. Sport Van FFS! The Mk2 too big? What kind of Sport Van are you wanting? One of those little ones I take it. Good luck with the sale, I hope the Mk2 will go to somebody wants a Mk2, not a new owner who sees it as a wheeled investment, then gets bored....

I'm after one of these. photos.app.goo.gl/FyV6KevyizWPhTrZ2And needs must. We pay £400 A month for the Audi and my wife is now disabled with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. It's money we can use for a better life. I hope it goes to somebody who will look after it. It's too good to be left outside to rot. The Mk2 just isn't practical to use every day.

They range from £7k upwards. Found a nice one with 60k on in a dealer for £9.5k.
My other car is a 220bhp Beetle so I know about front tyres ;-)

Wont you become eligible for a vehicle on the'motability scheme' to replace the Q3?,could save buying something that's gonna loose you more in the long run than just having cash in the bank(or under the mattress)from the sale of the mk2?

We've looked at that but for us it's freeing up that monthly amount.
Plus I don't know why but I've sort of set my heart on a Sport Van now. I love the mk2 but for my life at the moment it just doesn't fit. Apart from MOT'ing it and driving it to/from storage a few times I've not used it tjis year and much the same last year.
It needs to go to someone who will use and enjoy whilst looking after it.
