We have original captains seats in a landliner scrapper. They have been out in the weather after a tree fell on it, but the bases should be OK. Same floor pan Is this of interest?

Yes it would be Fred, although it wasn't so much the swivel that was of interest, they were good seats advertised and I'd like to upgrade mine (drivers seat getting a bit tatty....passenger seat lovely and comfortable and appears to be leather, looks standard transit though.
I do have a twin seat from a later transit, must be mk3 I guess, that I sometimes use, a drivers seat to match that would look quite good, but where to get one!
Thinking about it, my passenger seat needs to tilt to access the water tank so a swivel might not be suitable.

I'm finding it hard to beleive that leather was a Transit option....

I'm thinking those leather seats are really good quality vinyl, though it could be somebody had them recovered with leather by a trimmer. Will have a look at the scrapper, but I suspect the seats would best be recovered.

I imagine so but I'm looking at options to upgrade the driver's seat whilst spending money on it. (It's the brown stripey kind...hardly likely to come across decent ones for sale I reckon)

That's a phase1 seat then. Was Duck originally a phase1?

no it's a very late mk2, built 1985 and registered 1987. I suspect it must have had a leather drivers seat once too and the stripey job is a replacement.
