Any pointers, well appreciated, my mk2 York diesel, isn't getting fuel through. To fire up. Bled it through so filter was full, and it still wont fire up. Opened one of the injector pipe slightly, and turned it more, but still no fuel. Fuel gauge still working ,so didn't think it could be fuel sender. Thinking it might be fuel solenoid.? Where is it located.? Am I right thinking this. Suggestions please. Thanks in advance.

Have you bled the fuel right through the pump? The stop mechanism on a York is a cable pulled by a motor.

Thanks for your response, there's a bleed screw/ bolt on the side of pump, I bled it here too. Thought that might of done it. Didn't know about cable and motor. Is it easy to locate, and fix. Thanks for the help,

What year is the Transit? The motor is on a bracket, it looks like a wiper motor, the cable goes to the stop lever on the pump. Some Yorks had a rotary pump which may have a stop solenoid but this is rare. Do you get any fuel at all at the injectors if you crank it with the pipe union slackened?

Iits 1982/3 it's got minimec pump. The cut out lwas in the right position, ( I read your last post wrong). Still no fuel coming through injector pump .Seems odd, it's never run out of fuel, I,ve not used van for about a week, and when I opened the drain plug on the filter, completely full of air. It primes fuel well to top of fuel filter,. I,ve turned it over Loads, and typical, battery gives up. When you think your getting somewhere. Do you reckon I'm still pulling in air, and the motor at the front of the injector pump looks pretty dry inside.. I'm just hoping it's not the injector pump ..?
