does anyone know what sort of "bumper protector" came on a chrome mk1 front bumper?? the reason i ask is ive been checking out the motomobil site for a new chrome diesel bumper for my project and the only one they stock are the "with bumper protection type" naturally im after the plain chrome type which of course theyre sold out of for yonks. so what i want to know is are these "protectors" as they call them just over riders like on a mk2 escort sport or mk1 granny or whatever or are they big ignorant rubber sprips goin across the whole bumper or the likes. if theyre just over riders then the bumper ill only have a couple of holes extra which could be sorted with a couple of extra chrome head bolts id imagine. but if its a full strip thing it ill probably have a load of extra holes which id look gash id say!! does anyone remember this option on the vans or maybe have an old accessory catalogue or summit which may give a clue. sorry for the long winded explanation!! cheers.

Married to this is a (type 9) 5 speed gearbox from a Ford Capri" what a beaut!! and a v4 with type 9 5 speed.....more info needed i think :!: 8) and interesting front bumper overriders

All the pics are gone from the eBay link Funny, I got one picture, but the wrong one. However, the man who saw the picture (presumably) commented on them. Which doesn't make them original of course.
