Hi
I have been having a problem for a while with the drivers door, after depressing the button to open the door from the outside, the button doesn't pop back out as it should and the door often needs slamming a couple of times before it pops out and the door closes properly, i did try a bit of wd40 from the outside, that seemed to help it temporarily but it is back to its old tricks again, now the passenger side has started doing the same (maybe the colder weather).
Is it a case of removing, cleaning, greasing and refitting the locks to solve the problem (and how difficult is that to do?) or does anyone have any other suggestions (I hate fiddling around in doors!).
Thanks in advance
Dave

Try a silicone based freeing agent.

Try a silicone based freeing agent. Hi
thanks for the reply, I presume that you are suggesting just spraying it around the button as I did with the WD40?

Take the door card off and spray where the button contacts the lever on the lock mechanism.
