I got my fingers crossed for you and Puk for the future. By the way, Lidl offers last perhaps a week, but they put the stuff back on every few months.

Mmm, experience has taught me
People will look at history once they understand its relevance to them People value help when it matters to them, but the definition of offer is the same as receive
Thank you

. What dictionary do you use Jono? Learn from history??? :-[ I should cocoa. The history of the 2nd World War is the Wehrmacht's most successful propaganda. It's been re-written by Hollywood for a fast buck. And is now peddled up and down the country at re-enactments. What's to learn from that key bit of history please?

. Jono, if you want to cut corners on brakes that's between you and your conscience.

Ooh, ouchie...nope not me...we will work on them til theyre safe, everyone is important, people that travel in puk and people that pass puk...there are no shortcuts to be had, just treading gently and trying to keep within a reasonable budget as puk can be just a tad troublesome

. I can't get into your mindset Jono. Please will you rationalize this for me?
Once upon a time you had one old brake doofer. Then you spent hard earnerd on another old brake doofer. Then you invested time and money in your second old brake doofer.
Shortly, you expect to give more mullah to someone to take your first old brake doofer off, fit another old, all be it prettier, old brake doofer, and bleed your brakes.
So all in all, you've spent a fair wedge on swapping one dirty old doofer for a prettier old doofer, but you wish to keep within a reasonable budget. I simply don't get it.

.Too true it's a lottery Fred. What I don't understand is, why gamble when you're a guaranteed winner when you simply replace seals?

Its called trust, if my mechanic friend tony, who i think would do anything to protect my babies says get this one, yours has died and fixing it may not help it, then i trust him. I listen hard to what you say because its important i learn bits too. My limited understanding is that the problem with mine is not seals but i dont claim to know much. Tony has been a great support for puk and i trust him with my babies lives. Hope this helps explain it a bit more. Im not sure whether this should have been a pm but it seemed appropriate to answer your thread here too. If anyone has a different view about this or anyone mentioned, feel free to pm him and explain, i can only talk as i find.

.Thanks Jono, it seems like it's Tony's mindset I can't get my head. I keep coming back to a see-saw with the cost of rebuilding one of your doofers on one end, and your high value pax on the other and to my mind, the wrong end is up in the air.
