French trip went well , slight rear axle leak but nothing serious as had tools to fix . The only thing I would like to point out is if you have breakdown assistants it does not work on French motorways and its all a bit complicated so if you have problems try to not do it on a motorway or try an get off ;-)

been there done that. Theres some dodgy French law that only allows 'approved' contracters to recover off motorways. Once had a Saviem attend me with a broken spec. That went away to be replaced by a Cargo 0813 with no brakes. So the law does work keeping the cowboys out. NOT.

No road test yet still need to wire a couple of bits up and sort the cooling system as I seem to have an air lock , either that or the stats stuck

Also had to cut down the centre box to get it to fit , the whole system came from a mk4/5 jumbo and I assume the rear axle is further back ?

Also learn today that although my van has a fuel return it helps if it is actually connected to the tank, large puddle of Derv before I noticed.

That fan sensor adaptor looks nice, did you turn it up yourself?

Well got some larger injectors in , and turned the pump up . Pulls like a train . I have still to turn the turbo boost up until I get a working gauge . Popped into the scrappy on the test run and finally got Trevor weighed . 2.8tone with me in so about 2.68tones . Now I know why the Pinto was so bad
