The other site has had more regular postings, only due to time. There is more. I am currently trying to get the electrics to match the standard of the expert engine rebuild and fitting. I owe that person more than i can post on here. The summer was a desperate time. I had brought puk to take the kids away on interesting home holidays when expensive sunshine holidays disappeared with my marriage. We didnt manage it this year, but with the support help and love of alot of people in the transit circle we have replaced stolen parts, fixed what couldnt be fixed and made smiles where there were none.

JONO in the picture of the broken block there should be a L shaped bracket from the bolt hole in the centre of the pic to the bottom of the bell housing.Maybe you have removed it for photo if not fit one or you will have another broken block. I may have one will chek in the morning ,

Its a strenghtiner for the bottom of the bellhousing to stop the adapter plate flexing probarly caused your problem.

That would make some sense, the other issue was that the box wasnt fixed properly. The bracket needed some welding.

I can't even begin i try and use he/she every day at some point. The job means i have to have an all weather reliable vehicle but we potter off to my partners and the kids and go shopping and stuff, just to keep in shape...i was warned early that all cars like to be driven. Its still a little nervous and im still listening out for things breaking though Should i panic about the bracket?
