Kind of, ta. Chap breaking the mk2 didn't have the bits I was after and the grill wasn't as good as I wanted. There's not much wrong with mine TBH but it is damaged. I've ordered some rubber for the rear door glass and another type of rubber to make new door seals but I missed out on the mirror stem (forgot). It's just the mirrors really now.

Yep, got those in my watched list already thanks. I've ordered rubbers from both East Kent and the company you found thanks again.
Mirror stems would be great if you hear of any.

Thanks peeps. TBH I have been very fortunate indeed with the use of this garage as they use it to fix farm machinery and do other work in there and 6 months in there was not expected. We thought a couple of months, maybe 3, but not so long. Serious unavoidable distractions have dragged things out. Unfortunately when it's complete it's going to have to live outdoors anyway as my garage roof is too low to get the van under. I'm toying with the idea of getting a cover for it but experience has shown only the best stand up to continued outdoor use through all seasons, and none of the best provide for a mk2 Transit camper.

I know, but no can do unfortunately. House is a semi with the main door stupidly at the side. Single width 3 car driveway from the road down this side, with my 20 x 12 garage at the end. If I put one up I'd block both the main door and garage. I have other rented storage but in every case it's between 8 and 11 inches too high.
If only air suspension was affordable...

Thanks for the offer.
I've got a couple of confusing bits at the moment - one mirror arm is a different length from the other and one seems to be spring loaded whereas the other seems a standard resistance. There's also a missing lock clip. I've been PM'ing Fred about this.
From there I'm really pretty much covered at the moment. People like yourself have been really helpful with trim parts or pointing me where to go for things like seals etc. I do know I have some specific AutoSleeper questions coming up though such as where you drain the onboard water from and recommendations where to get a good gas/12v service from before I have my family in there.
I've got a good lead on a 4 speed overdrive box but I'd still be interested to hear of others. I also have a freshly rebuilt Cologne 2.8i in my garage I've spent a lot of money on that I'm thinking might be good over next Winter if I strip and rebuild the current 2.0 pinto but I'd need engine mounts etc if such things exist?
Dave.
