Well it's out and the engine bay is scrubbed and rust cured . All I have to do tomorrow is mask up so I can undershield the bay in white . Then put it all back together

It's only because the cab was originally beige so the engine bay is still beige

Well new engines and almost running . Although I have made a school boy error the box came out of a RHD and mines a LHD is there a cable that will reach or am I going to have to take the box of an switch the fork arm . Suggestions on a postcard

Well after 4 hrs this afternoon gearbox out and clutch arm changed , all back together and it ran but only for a short period as the front panel is over at my neighbours being sprayed so no radiator . Also the I lost the tread on the exhaust manifold so,it sounded like a tank . Good day done

Well the vans all back together ready for weekend . Runs really well and fifth gear is a bonus , just a couple of little things to sort like high tickover. And I have a slight rumble as you slow down which goes if you put you foot on the clutch . I had the same issue on the old box and engine but it was a lot louder . Anybody have any ideas , I'm going to check the dif oil tomorrow eve to rule that out
