well she's home albeit not uneventful.yell me about the gearlever.i stopped at a garage to have a sarnie pulled up by the bay went to stick it in reverse and the bloody lever came out the floor .abot an hour from the port she brokedown!!!nothing major the fan belt broke.1 phone call to the aa,an hour later the towie turned up and instead of being home by 11-11.30pm it was 2am. had a good look around her today and she don't seem too bad at all not perfect but quite good.only trouble i'm having is loosening the rear nut on the alternator.oh and would ya beleive there are 2 fan belts under the seat!! just gotta get rid of the emulsion from the cab and then get her advertised.

Fantastic! So glad it's there at last, I can breathe easy at last. I tried to sort the gear lever but I couldn't undo the plastic nut I hope it went back in ok, Glad the fan belt waited till you had it

I have to ask a silly question as I have probably missed a thread somewhere but how did it end up in the UK or did you buy it here and have just not been able to ship it ?

I have to ask a silly question as I have probably missed a thread somewhere but how did it end up in the UK or did you buy it here and have just not been able to ship it ? i bought it back in jan/feb off ebay.mutt's collected it for me and welded in a new crossmember but with one thing and another it only arrived yesterday.personally i think it was worth the wait. muttley.it would've caused big problems your end as it was hell of a job to shift the alternator bolts.at least there wasn't to much hassle this end.

ye have a few. nice comfy captain seats has a nice big sleeping area above cab luckily enough it has all the manual for the bits and bobs and the previous owner wrote out a sheet of paper with all the how to get things working.just need to save up to buy an electrical hook up and get the gas bottle filled.

Ah I remember her well. Would you like the Mk1 version to go with it? Sick of looking at it. Been here a feckin year!!! The owners take WEEKS to answer emails.

i'm gonna be hard pushed to get anymore from uk as the last couple have ended up arriving on the back of trucks!only good thing with that is it saves on petrol. funnily enough kate is now say"it's a shame we have to sell her"i knew she would, ha ha!

cheers mate.there's a few bits to sort light etc but ye wash and polish inide and out and onto dd.gotta knick the heater assembly from one of the other vans as i wondered why the fan didn't work and then realised it's all missing!

so what's the program now? NCTS for VRT exam....DoE for test (Greenhall in Buttevant did mine,,,very helpful too).... Cork CC for tax and then Done deal?
