Hi found this site while surfing the net for parts for our newly aquired mk1 transit camper van its a 1977 swb but in need of a lot of tlc started to collect panels and other stuff so far managed to get new door steps, an almost new drivers wing had to travel to gateshead for that after a long day at work almost 21hrs and plenty of red bull to keep me going, having problem locating a passenger wing thou.went to silverstone over the weekend and found a front panel new so snapped that up , still looking for some doors thou . found a company that will re-manufacture inner wings if they have enough demand i.e. 20 pairs . Our camper has a unique number plate TOD 98R so the wife has called him toddie but iv;e called it todger as the two numbers could like the letters. Toddie was purched from brighton at the start of the month and drove back to the west midlands over 200 miles never missed a beat . The engine is a 1600 v4 with 84000 miles on the clock. the interior is tired but the body will have to be re-done as this is blown in places , hope to do most of the work with help of friends over the next 18mths fingers crossed . i would be greatful for any help with finding parts.

welcome mate! looks a good start. but I think you need better mirrors.. Was just talking about mirrors earlier. A good option would be generi ones luke the ones fitted to the Dormobile. You could fit them to the underside of the 'luton' with the arms pointing down
