Theres a photo of your MK2 at Santa Pod on the cupboard for inspiration Aled! Maybe one day. I'm hoping to drive it up there next year so better get back to it.

Got a few hours on the van today. Replaced the drag link ends and the tie rod ends with lovely new shiny bits. Also got the donor engine running which is currently sat in the yard in another van. Its the nicest sounding Di I've heard. Not at all like the bucket of bolts which is currently in my van. Engine swap coming up I feel. Its also got a sticker on the rocker cover that says 'Ford Exchange Engine', but no idea how long ago.

Not much to report on the Transit resto' at the mo'. I am busy enlarging a shed so I have somewhere to park it during the winter. You don't realise just how big they are until you try and fit it in a 'standard' car sized space. Don't want it out in the rain all the time after spending so long welding it up. Have managed to repair the rubber mat, not brilliant but at least its useable. I used some rubber tool drawer liner and a tube of 'Tigerseal' Jas

Transit isn't getting much love at the moment as I have to do a load of work to the workshop. In fact I had to empty it of stuff, amazing how much goes in a LWB MK2, like a large mobile shed at the moment!

I know what you mean, I had years of my cars being kept outside now lucky enough to get them undercover for the winter. Currently planning the engine change on the Transit. Jas
