Hi all this is my first post and I'm hoping someone can help. My family have recently become the proud owners of Daisy, a 1985 motorhome. Our mechanic has advised us we need a front wheel hub. Does anyone know where I could buy such a thing? So it's a wheel hub for a b reg ford motorhome. Thanks in advance.

Sorry about that. The hub is a 5 stud. Hopefully I'll be lucky as hoping to go to euro Disney in the summer in it. Thanks.

What did he say was wrong with hub? as i cant see what goes wrong apart from the bearings, or did he mean the disc is shot?

Hi the mechanic said the bearing has been over tightened, the result is the outer ring of the bearing, instead of not moving, spins on the hub. This is makes it noisy and will cause it to heat up on long journeys.

If the bearing race is spinning then you need a hub and a stub axle, not an easy thing to find. I will have a check of my stock and see if I have one.

The bearing is spinning. I'd be very grateful if you could check. As I mentioned we just got the van and are really looking forward to using it.
