As long as it doesn't go much higher that is Stoney, looks like more than a "bit of work" to me.

yeah, a bit of work is probably an understatement, I reckon it will make 1500-1800

Did you see that MOTd historic tax SWB that went for just over a grand (£1130.)
I reckon there was a bed wetter after this one the way the punts went early on.;D
What do you reckon it's worth please Fred.

true, Im surprised that went that cheap, Ive seen a fair few mk1 chassis cabs on ebay and most have made around £1500 without tax or ticket and most looked worse than this, having said that now is the time to buy, with christmas round the corner no one wants to spend money.

Hmmm pendant pedals, one colour indicators and a nine slat grille makes it a bit later, but could still be tax exempt. As you would be registering it (again) in the UK I would ask for the VIN number and do an HPI. It might have been marked as exported so could draw a blank.

What would you put as a fair price please?

How long is a piece of string?? It might not move much more, or 2 bidders might fight over it. Sorry not much help but the truth..... Not having a UK reg will put some off.

With the facelift in 71, unless a select few had them before that. So it could still be tax exempt, remember it's manufacture before Jan 73 so that's a fair few vans.
