The new one looks really familiar but I just can't place it. Maybe Mitsubushi or a modern 4x4?

Thanks fred but i`ll tidy up the one i have, it has an intermitant vacuum problem but i`m guessing thats the check valve. I`ll replace that and see if it makes a difference. i wish there was a way i could modify the old master to fit the new booster as it seems bigger and is definately is in better condition

Just found your posts on the booster & master cylinder . Can't view the second photo but the first photo is the same as mine it's on a 77 twin slider Aussie camper . My booster is stuffed & they've quoted me big bucks to kit it & it's been done b4 can anyone tell me if a booster & master cylinder of something else can be made to fit without to much drama . Cheers .

I took my off and had it rebuilt by Automotive Brake Reconditioning at 46 Adderley St Lidcombe NSW 2141, Australia Phone 02 9748 4944. They supply the brake companies. Cost me about $300 a couple of years ago. Easy to remove and I picked it up the next day. Can's see why they cant be rebuilt any number of times. Stick with original otherwise your thrust can be all over the shop. They can do your master cylinder too but you need to supply the kit (stainless steel sleeves).
Slider!! Lucky you. Only disadvantage is no side door. Welcome.

Hmm that is the exact same as what is on my MK1 aussie beast. Not sure if it works yet as I'm yet to get the thing to start. Keep updating this post as to what it is off, I'm guessing a falcon cira 1975-77.

Not like my mk1 77 Aussie tranny, it may not be an original one though. Mine looks like the one in the first photo posted.

Here is another one with a different method of clamping the two halves. Reconditioners shy away from these as they are hard to separate. Came from my '74. The one above was from a '77.

Wont the back brakes lock up prematurely if you don't?
