Most RHD Malta transits are ex UK and it is possible to re register them with the DVLA. Its called repatriation.

No because it was originally a UK vehicle before going out to Malta

No because it was originally a UK vehicle before going out to Malta wonder if they can go back on the same reg number then. maybe hpi the vin to get the reg number for the v62 form ? i was watching a documentary type program wear 3 mk2 swb were driven over to pakistan and sold out there yet the reg numbers still show on dvla as unlicenced. and those vans are not even in the uk.

If they had a UK reg number than a mk2 should still be on the system and you may be able to get the original no back

Dan you first need to check if the number's been re assigned as a private plate. If not you can ask for it back. My mate recently brought back an FX3 taxi from the USA that's how I know. I will ask more details for you.
