Some of you have seen the van on here and another forum. I will post a few photos when i can from when i got it to how it looks atm.. i had big ideas of putting a 4.0L falcon motor in it with a turbo. I hate wiring and love old school! I went out and got a xy falcon distrubutor to slot in the engine. But the engine dont run them they run coil packs n all that crap. I have a ea falcon Centerpoint injection manifold that im converting to run a weber carb. Thats the engine running on its own there. I also wanted a bit more grunt out of it so i got a gt3540 turbo to put on it. I know i went backwards then to go forwards. Its my build ill do it that way. For me to run it this way i can do the timing the fuel air mix and boost. Win win i think. The btr box on the engine that came out of an au falcon 01 02 i think. Is fully electronic and is a no go for me. So im looking at getting a bf51 out of a series 1 ea falcon 3 speed auto. And running a falcon diff. Lots and lots of work to be done. I wamt the van running and driving before i do any body work. I want to change out the front hubs to a smaller pcd for wheels. Theres a mk1 near me that has hq hold disc brakes and rotors. Anyone tried doing a falcon set up even to get the hub to go on would be awesome the caliper bracket i can make to fit. Will put the photos up on the next post. The van is a 1968 mk1 sliding front doors that still roll. And only has the barn doors to. Talk soon fellow transit mad nuts!
